UPDATE: check out the full version of the interview here: http://team.sixcycle.com/2013/01/18/a-final-word-on-lance/ As many in the cycling community implausibly found themselves watching Oprah on a Thursday night, Team Sixcycle-RK&O was joined by Belgium's Greet De Keyser who was covering the story for VRT. The story of the interview about the interview, as well as pictures from an evening of #Doprah, is included below.
Team Sixcycle-RK&O's Charlie Bird on being interviewed by Greet De Keyser
If you're a cyclist or have been touched by cancer you're connected to the Lance Armstrong story - the good and the bad.
I am a 10 year cancer survivor and have previously raised upward of $40,000 for Livestrong. I have met and spent time with Lance, on and off the bike, on at least 5 occasions from 2003-2006.
Surprisingly, my insight has generated interest from multiple media outlets over the past week. While the world watched Lance confess to Oprah, I was honored to be interviewed by Belgium's Greet De Keyser.
The story was reported hours later when Greet went live from New York City on Belgium's VRT.
