Grant's Tomb: A Quick Race Recap

Fresh off an opening weekend that included successes at both the CRCA Club Series last Saturday and  the Bethel Spring Series on Sunday, Team Sixcycle-RK&O lined up for the CRCA Grant's Tomb Criterium, one of the classic events on the New York City race calendar.

The team raced aggressively with multiple riders jumping off the front of the peloton, though the racing wasn't without its pitfalls - with several crashes in the field, including Team Sixcycle's Matthew Vandivort going down on the last lap (picture below).

While a two man break managed to stay away through the finish of the race, the team led Roger Parmelee to the field sprint where he took 4th place overall in another terrific early season result for Team Sixcycle-RK&O.
