The Central/Prospect Park Double

Sleep. It's one of the few things missing from the New York City racing scene.

Real world (job/family/etc) schedule permitting it's possible to race five days per week for significant portions of the season. However with Saturday and Sunday races generally ENDING before 8AM, it's tough to catch up on the ZZZZ's, especially on weekends with the Central Park / Prospect Park double.

Despite risk of exhaustion however, the squad was in attendance on Saturday for the second race of the CRCA season and again on Sunday for the Lucarelli & Castaldi series opener. The tempo was high on both days, with solo riders sneaking away late in the races and taking home wins.

Results were elusive for the squad, though Colin did score a top ten racing solo at the Branch Brook Spring Series on Saturday and results or not, plenty of post race coffee was consumed, making for a pretty solid early season weekend of riding.
