In the Mud at Supercross Cup 2015
With the 2015 cyclocross season entering final stages we headed North to Bear Mountain painfully early for New York City’s “local” UCI race: the Supercross Cup.
As usual we brought along hundreds of bars from our friends at Health Warrior for what turned out to be a day of mud, mud and more mud – the sloppy conditions combining with a technical course to make for challenging racing and entertaining spectating. Returning to Connecticut for the 2nd round of cyclocross at Belltown
Cyclocross is not for September. Although there is the occasional nice weekend, it’s almost always too hot for a 40-60 minute maximum effort. Too sweltering, dry, dusty, bumpy, and miserable to race in little circles around a field. Shall I remind you that September is still summer!!! Summer is not for cyclocross!
