Announcing TBD-CO: To Be Determined Expands to Colorado

As you may have observed if you’re a regular reader of the Journal, we’ve been writing about Colorado quite a bit in the last year or so. How did a Journal run by a New York City based team of cyclists come to feature so much Colorado content? Well when a portion of the team moved to Denver and just couldn’t quite stop talking to their best New York City pals on Slack, we decided the best solution was clear: to expand the To Be Determined family to Colorado. And thus, TBD-CO or To Be Determined Colorado was born!

The goal of creating To Be Determined Colorado is for the squad to be unique as compared to other teams we’ve seen in the Denver / Boulder area. It will be a small, close knit group focused mostly on gravel, mountain biking, and cross. We will definitely have the most attractive Castelli kit, not that we’re biased or anything. We will be riding some of the same amazing Moots bikes as the NYC squad. And most importantly, we will have the cutest team mascot, Sophie the golden retriever. We’ve got a full calendar of events scheduled for the year, most of which you’ll be able to see in our Gravel Calendar.

The current To Be Determined Colorado roster includes:

  • Barb Blakley Millott, formerly of TBD-MDC, Cross Fanatic, Team Manager

  • Rod Millott, loves cross, can’t wait to race the Ramble Ride

  • Michelle Hildebrand, recovering triathlete and strong gravel rider

  • Bill Ludington, the friendliest member and another strong triathlete who’s getting very into gravel (though he’s still warming up to the idea of camping)

  • Shane Garman, gravel and cross racer, also our second Shane

  • Daniel Houser, gravel rider who’s dabbled in cross and if it’s up to Management will dabble again

We’re looking forward to exploring more of Colorado and getting our NYC teammies to visit for. If you’re interested in TBD Colorado, drop us a line at team@tobedetermined.cc!
