Mid-Year Update: TBD Community Rides
As we reach the halfway point of 2025, it's time to reflect on the incredible journey we've shared so far with the TBD Community Rides. From the bustling streets of New York City to beaches of Rockaways and the serenity of the river path heading north from the George Washington Bridge, each ride has been a testament to the vibrant cycling community in New York City.
Our rides have seen cyclists come together each month so far this year, giving people an opportunity to ride with friends and catch up after the races that we base the rides around. If you haven’t come along yet then make our next one your first, but make sure it isn’t your last!
Upcoming Ride: July 5th at Central Park
Mark your calendars for our next community ride on July 5th! We'll be meeting bright and early at 7:30 AM at Engineers Gate in Central Park (after the CRCA race). This ride promises to be another fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow cyclists and enjoy the beautiful summer weather..
Meeting Point: Engineers Gate, Central Park
Time: 7:30 AM
Route: South County Trailway to Red Barn Bakery, then back on some dirt via the Old Croton Aqueduct. Expect roughly 7 miles of dirt on the route. While it's doable on a road bike, a gravel or cyclocross bike might offer more comfort.
Pace: Approachable endurance pace
