Weekend Roll: An Awesome CROSSASAURUS SUMMER
TBD headed out to PA for Crossasaurus Awesome on October 4, part of the PACX series. This year’s race fell on race director Mike Festa’s birthday, and we know what he got: a giant roll of course tape. The down sloping grassy area was packed with an infinite amount of corners and this changed the race significantly from recent editions. Now it was a more technical race with less focus on constant peddling: getting in front before the field of turns meant a bit of recovery before laying back on the power after the small bridge leading to the corn field. The barriers were back, too. Top vibes and hangs made this one an early highlight for October. Oh, and summer was still here, it was hot and dusty.
James did the Unc race (masters), Jacob and Yosef did the Scrub Zone Aura Farm race (cat 3/4) with Jacob getting on the podium and in the $2 money with a hard fought 4th, and Hannah, Shane, and Lisa did the Mother race (cat 1/2/3).
