Weekend Roll: Training Intensity Cranks Up

Weekend Roll: Training Intensity Cranks Up

In the past few weeks bike racing officially arrived in New York City. In the opening two weekends of racing we took part in some very hard events and even scored a double podium in Central Park - which we’ll have a race report on shortly. Unfortunately, simultaneous with the start of the season,= coronavirus also emerged in NYC. As a result, bike racing was put on pause, and we’re turning our energy to training and perhaps a bit of Zwift racing.

It has been an abrupt switch after starting to build some real intensity into our training in recent weeks. But staying healthy and supporting friends and family undoubtedly take priority in times like these. So with a potentially extended break from racing, we’ll leave you with a weekend roll from a great team ride a few weeks back, in what feels like simpler times.
