Announcing: ACME Bicycle Co's Neutral Ground event

Our appreciation for ACME Bicycle Co has been a longstanding theme on the TBD Journal. In our opinion, they provide some of the best bike fits in the tri-state area and their newer location in Katonah, NY is conveniently situated in one of our favorite areas to ride.

To add to all of that, ACME is also organizing a three day event for the first weekend in May that is not to be missed. They’re bringing in a plethora of industry brands, ranging from independents like No. 22 to giants like SRAM/Zipp, for a three day festival called NEUTRAL GROUND.

Festivities kick off on Friday May 5th, followed by a full day of events on Saturday including two rides (one gravel and one road), raffle items, music, drink and food - all of it anchored in downtown Katonah that is readily accessible via bike, train, or car. We’ll definitely be making an appearance and hope to see you there - details below.

Getting There: Katonah’s a shorter journey from NYC than you might think!

  • By train - The Metro North Harlem line passes right through Katonah, and the train station is just a few steps from ACME’s front door. Catching the 9:09am train on Saturday from Grand Central will put you in Katonah at 10:26am, which leaves you plenty of time to check out some bikes at the demo and suit up for either ride option.

  • By bike - Weather permitting, a few ambitious (foolish?) members of the TBD squad will be riding up from NYC for the 12:45pm gravel ride on Saturday. It’s a 42-mile journey from the George Washington Bridge. Interested in joining? Let us know by filling out this form for more info!
