TBD πŸ’• Acme Bikes

Every team has their shop, and for TBD, it’s always been Acme Bikes. From their meticulous work building up custom team bikes to leading beautiful rides near the Katonah shop, Acme has played an integral role in keeping the team’s bikes and legs running.

There’s three things we just can’t stop talking about when it comes to Acme, a quick perusal through the blog makes why we love Acme obvious.

The Bikes Fits

TBD loves to talk about bike fits, and many of us are extremely happy Acme customers. Whether you head up to Colin in Katonah or see Jonathan in Brooklyn, you will not be disappointed. Take advantage of the option to bring more than one bike and save yourself that inevitable second trip, when you realize you can never ride a bike that hasn’t been fit at Acme ever again.

The Custom Builds

Acme is great at fitting on an existing bike, but they’re also the place to get fit for a custom build. Acme doesn’t just do the fit, they’ll work with you on a whole build, and the team has had great experiences building up their custom bikes. I mean, look at all these beautiful Moots.

The Rides

We’ve biked to brews, peeped some perfect fall foliage, and ridden the most perfect gravel. (Pro tip: if you get your bike fit in Katonah, test out your new fit on any of these beautiful routes.) Mark your calendar for the weekend of June 1 for the second annual Neutral Ground, which we can guarantee the TBD crew is making a tradition.

Acme also hosts regular events with brands that can’t be missed. If you’re looking for a chance to come check out the shop, there’s an opportunity this week.

Join us at ACME Brooklyn on Thursday, February 15th, 6-9 pm for an exclusive event. Factor will be with us discussing the continuous evolution of aero race bikes, SRAM will be showcasing the latest AXS gear and Quarq power meters, and ACME experts will be delving into dialing in your fit before your next bike purchase. Music by the talented DJ MKL.

RSVP for your chance to win a set of Black Inc 60 wheels, generously donated by Factor - (must be present at the event to claim any raffle prizes).
