TBD Race Calendar: July 2025

Somehow we are already almost mid-way through the summer, and thus well into the second half of the 2025 road racing calendar. Thankfully, there is a huge couple weeks of racing coming up throughout New York City, with options for road racers and off-road racers alike. Here is a look at some of the upcoming events featured on the TBD Race Calendar. Wherever possible the calendar includes the relevant Bikereg links - just click through to the event description.

• July 5-6: the holiday weekend is unsurprisingly the slowest of the month, but CRCA is hosting their Open Summer Race that is one of those rare opportunities for non-CRCA members to race in Central Park. After the race, we’re also hosting our next community ride with a fun new route that will extend up the South County Railway.

• July 12-13: the second weekend of the month has a wealth of racing options. We’ll have racers in Prospect Park on Saturday at the Lucarelli & Castaldi Series, as well as the CRCA Club race on Sunday. There is also the Giro del Cielo Road Race on Sunday in New Jersey. For the off road crew there is also mountain bike racing at Fair Hill on Saturday.

• July 19-20: while not as local, this weekend is the busiest of the month. Saturday once again features Prospect Park racing as part of the Verge Series. But for those willing to jump in the car there is both the Apply Valley Criterium and the Sunshine Criterium on Saturday, followed by the famous Yarmouth Clam Festival on Sunday. Likewise, the gravel racers can head up to the Macedonia Gravel Grinder.

• July 26-27: this is another busy weekend for the local race calendar with a CRCA Club Series race in Central Park alongside the Women’s Development Series. There is also potentially a criterium on Riverside around an abbreviated Grant’s Tomb Criterium-like course, but with registration currently closed, we’re not sure the event will happen.
