TBD Race Calendar: April 2026
We’re slightly delayed with publishing our look at the April race calendar, but better late than never! After an incredibly packed month of local park racing in March, things shift a bit out of Central/Prospect Park for the month of April, including a plethora of mountain bike events and some fun road events including two different stage races. Here is a look at some of the upcoming events featured on the TBD Race Calendar.
April 11-12: This weekend offers a great mix of road, gravel, and dirt to kick off the heart of the spring season:
Saturday features the USAC Brinkerhoff Memorial Road Race up in Coxsackie, NY, for those looking to get out of the city and test their legs on some proper rolling road race terrain. This course can be particularly fun if the crosswinds are blowing. Alternatively, the Frozen Four Series also gets underway in New Britain, CT as a classic early season event for New England racers. Registration for both races is via BikeReg; see the links on the full TBD Race Calendar.
For the off-road crowd, the Fifth Street Rock Monster goes down on Saturday in Mertztown, PA. Or if you are more gravel inclined, Monkey Knife Fight is the same day in Breinigsville, PA. We hear good things about the latter, but won’t be in attendance this year due to calendar conflicts.
Sunday is truly an action-packed day of road racing with a plethora of events to choose from. Close to home, the Verge Series continues with the second race in Prospect Park, Brooklyn where TBD will definitely be in action. Alternatively, there is also the Army Classic collegiate race that features a few standard USAC fields at West Point, plus a Time Trial in New Jersey. Pick your poison between all of these events!
April 18-19: This is the busiest weekend of the month with road racing, stage racing, time trials, and mountain biking all on offer:
Road racers should consider heading to the Garden State Stage Race in Lebanon and Hope, NJ, which also serves as part of the NJTT Cup. Stage racing early in the season is a great way to build form and spend a weekend out of the city, and we had a blast at the race last year. Register via BikeReg.
For those focused on racing in New York City, it is another double-header weekend with the CRCA Mengoni Grand Prix on Saturday in Central Park and the third race in the Lucarelli & Castaldi Prospect Park Series on Sunday. Both should be great events, with registration for each on BikeReg.
We don’t have a ton of information to share on the FOUR (!!!) different Mountain Bike Races taking place this weekend, split evenly between Saturday and Sunday. Head over to the full TBD Race Calendar for BikeReg registration links to get more information.
On the local side, there is also the Atlantic Time Trial on Saturday, with registration via BikeReg.
April 25-26: The final weekend of the month closes things out with an exciting new local event and plenty of off-road action:
The inaugural Diamond Mountain Stage Race takes place on the last weekend of the month, with a TT/Circuit/Road Race format. With CRCA discontinuing the Bear Mountain Classic, this is your best opportunity to race at Bear Mountain. The race also features the return of racing to Rockland Lake State Park. Kudos to Alex K for putting this unique event together. Registration is via BikeReg.
Alternatively, this is another weekend with lots of off-road options to choose from, including multiple mountain bike races and the Lu Lacka Wyco Hundo v14 in Pennsylvania for the gravel racers.
If we are missing any races from the calendar just drop us a note using the contact form on the TBD Race Calendar page. We want to make sure the calendar is as comprehensive as possible. As always, a screengrab of the calendar is below, but head over to the full calendar page for all of the registration links saved in the event descriptions.

Spring is finally arriving in NYC, and with it better weather for bike racing (we hope)
