TBD Race Calendar: June 2026

We were so distracted by a busy couple of weekends with Lime Rock and ACME Bicycle Co’s Neutral Ground that we’re a bit behind with publishing our look at the June race calendar, but better late than never! After an incredibly packed month of park racing and early-season road events in May, the focus shifts to proper summer criterium racing and a mix of classic park races as the weather heats up. Here is a look at some of the upcoming events featured on the TBD Race Calendar.

June 13-14: Park Racing and Riverton

Mid-June brings a balance of NYC park racing and classic New Jersey criteriums for a busy weekend of racing both locally and a short drive from the City:

  • The local race weekend kicks off Saturday in Prospect Park for the third race in the Verge Series. This is also the second race in the Prospect Park Women’s Series. Assuming the weather cooperates, we’ll have a big crew in attendance - come join us! Registration is on Bikereg.

  • For the off-road crew there is also a Mountain Bike race in New Jersey called Hangsterfer's Summer Sizzler. We don’t have a ton of beta on this event, so head over to Bikereg (linked in the TBD Race Calendar) for more details.

  • Road racers should consider heading to the Historic Riverton Crit in Riverton, NJ on Sunday. Racing through the historic streets is always a highlight of the June calendar, and it’s a fantastic event to build your crit-racing skills. Register via BikeReg.

  • Close to home, and also on Sunday the CRCA Club Series continues in Central Park. Pick your poison between heading out to New Jersey or keeping it local! CRCA Club Members should register via the CRCA member portal.

June 20-21: The Biggest Weekend in NYC

This another busy weekend for local road racing, featuring the crown jewels of the NYC calendar:

  • Saturday brings another race in Central Park, but this time it is an Open Race: the CRCA Lucarelli & Castaldi Summer Open. If you’re ready for a 5:30 AM race start, registration is on Bikereg.

  • There is also the Lewis Morris Challenge H2H Series Race for the MTB'ers. This is a fun event that we’ve attended many times in the past (each time suffering on the opening climb).

  • Lastly for the crit racers, you can head to Pennsylvania for the Race Avenue Criterium in Lancaster, PA. It’s a four corner crit, though it’s a bit of a perplexing field structure for Women given a 17-mile duration for just W3/4 and Masters 35+.

  • Sunday is Father's Day, which means only one thing in NYC cycling: the Harlem Skyscraper Cycling Classic. This is one of the biggest races in New York City, featuring massive crowds, incredible history, and high-speed racing around Marcus Garvey Park. We highly recommend coming out to race or just to watch and party.

June 27-28: GRant’s Tomb Crit Weekend

The final weekend of the month closes things out with one of our favorite local races, the Grant’s Tomb Criterium

  • Saturday brings the return of the CRCA Grant’s Tomb Criterium. We have spent years racing and race directing this event so it remains near and dear to TBD. Expect big fields, an exciting course, and an all around excellent day. Seriously, don’t miss this one! Registration is on Bikereg.

  • For those less crit-inclined, there is also the NYC Cup - Brooklyn Classic in Brooklyn. Part of the NYC Cup series, this race will use the “old” Prospect Park finish (before the climb) rather than the current finish used for the Lucarelli & Castaldi and Verge Series.

  • The month closes out with the Thompson Cycling Grand Prix in Connecticut. Similar to the recent Lime Rock GP, this takes place on a car race track, making for a unique race experience. Details and registration are on Bikereg.

If we are missing any races from the calendar just drop us a note using the contact form on the TBD Race Calendar page. We want to make sure the calendar is as comprehensive as possible. As always, a screengrab of the calendar is below, but head over to the full calendar page for all of the registration links saved in the event descriptions.
